The German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) is intelligent and very energetic. The GSP is family friendly. He is a loyal hunting companion and protective of his owner and other members of the family.  The GSP requires exercise and companionship to thrive. They are very people-oriented. Our GSP's, like the best of the breed, are outgoing and aggressive hunters.  The GSP is a hunting dog by nature and loves the thrill of working the field for his hunting partner.

As the owner and trainer of Laurel Green Gun Dogs I take great pride in our work and the successes of our breeding and training.  My mentor, John Isaccs of Guadaira Kennels, passed away in 2007, but his passion, skill, and knowledge have guided me for more than a decade in this rewarding world of German Shorthaired Pointers.
